Now Gone: Photosynth, Food & Drink, Health & Fitness, and Travel apps

Folks, you can uninstall ANY app including the store itself if you take a bit of time to learn powershell, or browse the net to find someone else's ps script. Sure, it's not right click, uninstalling but it isn't hard either.

Ok people of topic(a wee bit) but Now I'll drop the bomb:
I can deal with a few Microsoft apps, even a few MSN apps(the ones getting nuked), BUT
what I can't deal with are the junk App Store apps that come with a new PC from OEM
. They are just as bad, if not worse, then the other Crapware. When I clean install there is no crapware, but if I use the same Microsoft account, the uninstalled apps still show up(even when never used just uninstalled) in store
.

That's, good to know, still, shouldn't have to resort to that. And it still doesn't get rid of the clutter in the My Apps section of the Store.

thank you for the diagram with the "Show All" button, hopefully that will help others, but my concerns were for things that simply did not show at all.
Hmm. I've been using Store apps since inception in 8RP. Every one of them has followed me along via MS account, whether free or purchased. Have a ton of them since I have a Windows Lumia too. Guesstimate 150 of them?
In doing more research, I found that after hitting the "Show all" they are further categorized with "Works on this device" and "Doesn't work on this device" as seen here.

Admittedly these apps sucked upon introduction in 8RP and because of that I feel they got a bad rep. Inadvertently I stuck with them to learn. With time through updates (and now new concepts/design with them in 10 including the Store app itself) I began to see how some of them, especially the MS ones, worked in conjunction with one another through the Charms. Believe me, this approach saves a lot of time with navigation. Not too many perceived this concept, so MS has abandoned it in 10.
I think they concerted a different approach. e.g. and I see MS has combined the Mail app and the Calendar app using two separate windows with buttons on the lower left to do so. Hopefully they add the People (contacts) app there also.
Attachment 24305
Why is that? Well, let's say I get an email from you about a certain appointment to keep. I simply switch over to the Calendar app and make it. Saves time in navigation to open another program/app. This all synched to any device via an MS account. It's all about "Products and Services" these days really.
I feel there are some that are indeed a waste of time, however others may enjoy them. What gets my goat and did also over at 8F was/is that members spurt off about these apps when in fact they haven't given them a fair chance. Afterwards if users don't like them that's fine, but don't judge something in ignorance of them/it. That's not to say you are. Just saying is all.

OOOPS! But WTH... it's worth mentioning again . That's really my on wound point with the store that keeps me from trying other apps(Even more people at the Microsoft Community too!)

Remove app from "My apps"
Allow us to remove apps from Windows Store "My apps", sometimes you try an app and never want to install it again, rather than be constantly reminded it still exists. See link below.

No harm in mentioning again. I won't hold it against you. Yeah, I have a bunch that I tried just the once and now they are mine forever and a day. Now I'm leery of trying any others for the same reason. There needs to be a way to clean out the trash. Or hide them away out of site.

Kind of like kissing and herpes, isn't it?

I'm all for, install only what is absolutely needed and then let me install what I actually need, and I'll tell you why. When I bought my ASUS laptop, it came with the usual Microsoft pre-installed Apps and a bunch of other bloat Apps. When I booted up the first time and logged in with my Microsoft ID, all those Apps were immediately added to My Apps in the Windows Store. Regardless of the fact that I never ever used them and immediately uninstalled them. My Microsoft store My apps section is now basically useless. It's littered with Apps I never used or wanted, with no way to remove them from the list. That's just not right.
I'm all for Apps an use some, I just don't want then forced on me with no choice as to what I want and don't want.
I see your point, but this is not MS's fault, yes? The installation and adding to your Store account is the OEM's fault yes?
The only apps predestined in my installation of 10 was the Mail, Calendar, News, Weather, and maybe a few others. I was surprised I had to install the People and Get Skype apps. All others I had to install.
So far as recording them in the Store is concerned > I agree that it is a PITA having to go through the list, however, with the new Store app it is much easier than the old Store app in 8. We get to check them off to install one by one, yes?
I agree there should be a way to strike them from the list. Perhaps that is to come. Please remember > This is new tech and takes time to develop. I'm quite sure MS doesn't want all this extra, unneeded data filling up their servers either.

Please see my post, this has been going on for almost 3 years, that's old(ancient) when it comes to tech.

You may be right. I may be crazy.
