This might just work:
Install Windows normally until you reach the first of setup dialogs, the
Settings screen:
Do not click anything, instead press
CTRL + SHIFT + F3. Windows reboots now to a so called
Audit Mode, a special Windows customization mode using the built-in administrator account and a basic Windows display driver.
When in Audit Mode desktop close the
Sysprep dialog by clicking the
Cancel button, it will be shown in the middle of the desktop:
Spartan does not work in Audit Mode, nor does any other Modern apps so you need to start
Internet Explorer. Do this by pressing
WIN + R to open the
Run dialog, type
iexplore.exe and press
Enter:
IE opens now. Go to
Intel® Driver Update Utility page, download and install the
Intel Driver Detection Tool and run it. It checks your system and installs the best possible driver for your Intel GPU. If Windows needs to restart after the installation, do it normally, Windows automatically returns to Audit Mode. This time when you see the Sysprep dialog again in the middle of the screen, click
OK.
If no reboot was needed after the Intel GPU driver installation, right click the
Start button, open
Command Prompt and type the following command and press
Enter:
Code:
%windir%\system32\sysprep\sysprep.exe /oobe /reboot
Windows exits now the Audit Mode, you will be taken back where you started, the
Settings dialog and can now continue the installation. The best possible Intel driver for your GPU should now be installed, Windows will not try to replace it.
Let us know if this worked.
