Yes that would be against for rules.
Done clean installs on real physical machines and virtual machines, both EN-US and EN-GB. I'm quite satisfied, from my point of view the most important was to see that customizing in Audit Mode & Sysprep both are working, including relocating the Users folder to another drive with an answer file.
Nice!
This is really annoying, is there any better way to save the link to the Start menu without having to put it on the taskbar? Classic Shell is not a solution for me.
Here are some known issues for this build
- We know this one will be a bit painful but there is a bug with this build in which Win32 (desktop) apps won’t launch from the Start menu. The workaround is to use search to find and launch these apps and pin them to your taskbar for quick access.
Some of them work when you start them "As Administrator". I tried changing their executives properties to always start as administrator but that didn't work.
Doing a clean install, use ESD to ISO tutorial fixes that
ESD to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 ESD File
I still get that error about 10066 , it seems to come and go at will. Strange.
One practical way is to use the QuickLaunch toolbar. Copy the shortcuts you need most often to %appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch folder, then right click tasbar and select Toolbars > New Toolbar add the Quick Launch.
Now you have all shortcuts to your most often used desktop apps in the Quick Launch toolbar.
