With 10 you can almost either pin everything to start or Quick Access in File Explorer(depending where needed) and I just love that.
You could say pinning is one of the biggest pluses in Win10. Now that cuts down the clicks

I don't have a problem with MS moving everything from Control Panel to Settings. I do like the fact that they are doing the move slowly so we can get adjusted to the change.

Win 10 tablets have the same taskbar as desktops, it was a change it 10 to have this permanently on screen (though it can be hidden the same as desktops/laptops
Not very easy with touch on an 8" screen
Win 10 on phones does not have the taskbar
You wouldn't think it would for the obvious reason of No Room to Work With! Perhaps now you can understand why MS is making the adjustments to find the common ground for all platforms not just one or the other. If I simply walk into a store to look at the latest cell phones now being seen you no longer seen them with key pads except for any remaining flip phone models left over. Everything is going strictly touchscreen at the present time which would also apply to Windows Phone, Surface tablet, IPhonies as well as Andr(ibble)oid and whatever else comes along.

Everything hasn't been moved over yet. It's not a substitute for the control panel, they each have different functionality, at the moment. There is some duplication/overlap but eventually everything that you can do in the control panel will be moved to Settings. Then control panel will be no more. Things are in transition at the moment.
It took MS three versions just to get this far! So you won't be seeing that being completed 100% anytime soon! But the gradual process is being seen.

How is it easier to find things in the new settings app?
I find using settings or CP about the same, only difference is the look of them, though I think CP looks better and more suited for desktop machines
With the old Legacy Classic CP everything is wrapped up together in different folder as far as access is concerned as each option will see a separate screen brought up. The same is also being seen with the Settings. But instead of links and check boxes you are now seeing on/off switches instead that are geared for touchscreen as well as mouse click. It makes when you consider Windows is no longer just desktop only but tablet and smart phone platforms being rolled up together where everything has to mesh in order to work.
