Read more...Microsoft held its technical preview press event today in San Francisco where they showed off the first bits of the upcoming OS. As previously said, Microsoft will be releasing a technical preview for the public to try out ahead of the retail launch.
The download will be part of Microsoft's 'Insider' program for Windows enthusiasts; that portal will go live tomorrow as well.
Tip
I'm really stoked to see how much feedback and collaboration Microsoft is asking for from developers and enthusiasts. I'll definitely be downloading tomorrow. Guess I'd better get around to sitting up VMWare.
I'm ready for it and can't wait to download. Looking forward to having Windows completely ignore my input. :)

Damn it, when you made a new post I thought download link is finally available! I guess it won't be up until it'll be morning/noon in US. Damn timezones, and I've already set up a remote access to my home PC to make sure I can start downloading right away and just install it once I get home from work :/
