    Yeah, that's an idea but it sucks doing it on a fresh install that I just finished.

    Yes, I know the feeling!
    The solution is that you could just create a full backup and then do the update with the ISO.
    After, if there is something that goes wrong or you feel it is not okay then just go back to the previous one (original) version from the backup.

    So, I finally decided to update with an ISO. all went well.

    At least I have a PS command to clean old files (old Windows included) and a command line to check the install for errors. A whole lot of time wasting for an update that probably will never be used on this machine.
