Windows 9 Build 6.4.9830 Ready, As the Public Beta Is Almost Here
Work on Windows 9 continues these days, as we’re getting insanely close to the public launch of the very first beta of what could be another major revamp of our beloved operating system.
It appears that Microsoft has recently completed development of another Windows 9 build, as version number 6.4.9830 has been spotted online, most likely as the company was test-driving its features.
I can't help myself but get hyped over the preview. Something tells me that, as long as it's as fast as 8 and stable enough, I'll keep it on my laptop for a long time
Computer Type: Laptop System Manufacturer/Model Number: Surface Pro 3 OS: Windows 10 Pro CPU: 1.9GHz Intel Core i5-4300U (dual-core, 3MB cache, up to 2.9GHz with Turbo Boost) Memory: 4GB Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 4400 Monitor(s) Displays: 12" Multi Touch Screen Resolution: 2160 x 144 Keyboard: Yes Hard Drives: 128GB Browser: Chrome Antivirus: Defender/Mbam
If the Windows 9 preview doesn't come with a System Restore capability to go back to 8.1, I won't be able to risk installing it. I can't be without a working computer.

I am sure it will be worth the wait but with all the pent up tech users wanting something to try out I hope they are cross connecting a bunch of servers or it will all fall flat on its face when we start downloading.....

If you want to try it out without risk use a virtual machine. See VMware Player - Install Windows 8[2]=Virtualization and substitute 9 for 8.

As in title, is it safe to assume that a usb 3.0 flash drive is Ready Boost ready? I'm not finding any that actually say they are. This question assumes that the device will be plugged into a 3.0 port.
Countdown images!! Multiple images for the same day are welcome as long as they don't overlap days. ;)
9 days until Win 9!!
