    Hi there jimbo45

I keep that particular build just for Windows Insider evaluation so I'm unlikely to change it until the 32bit version is completely discontinued.

But thanks for your insights and I agree some of my oldest laptops are working with W10 64bit 2GB RAM and an SSD helps them along nicely. The only one I have failed to get to work is an ACER Aspire 5100 which was originally provided with Vista, the graphics are just too poor to get the display working reliably. Text disappears on a regular basis.
    Hi,
    Define working lol
I've tried 64 bit with only 3gb it was a slow spinning wheel mess
32 bit is much more responsive.

Control panel and settings Bonkosity !!

Ms have really hosed this one up

If I go to system via the settings option in the main menu I get into all sorts of things to adjust monitor et but not the typical things I want to do -- however if I choose system from control panel I get all the options -- e.g things like computer name, device manager etc

Kerfi -- Eng translation is is system:

    From control panel

From settings in the main menu

Surely the menu and control panel should be consistent when having the same menu /applet /pane name (system) !!!

Don't they QC / test this stuff -- these sorts of defects are easy to check for I would have thought. !!

    Cheers
    jimbo
