I did the sfc scan after the NetFramework and Adobe update went through. No problems downloading those two but sfc did find corruption after those updates and successfully repaired them. I then rebooted at 1:44 a.m. as shown in my screenshots and did the sfc scan again with no integrity violations found, so I checked Windows Update because I knew there was one more update that wasn't originally showing up and there it was for over twelve hours sitting there probably downloading at a trickle because of server demand.
It is sometimes the norm for this or any PC in the house as they have HughesNet by Satellite as ISP connections. So basically, one thick patch of clouds could interrupt download speeds. I've witnessed satellite blackout periods for days here in the mountains just from fog and smog.
I was just trying to show the guys/gals that got cable connections and worried about slow download times that they really have nothing to complain about.
So you guys/gals that are worried about a 30 minute download or more and not using satellite, I wouldn't sweat it so much. I would trade ISP providers with any of you in a heartbeat if I could. They just now recently started laying the lines for cable connections in my area. They are only 20 some years behind for us poor folks out in the sticks!
