Did something happen to File Explorer with this update? It didn't immediately change after the update but now the layout has changed.

How do I get this classic look back?

Ok why can't I post a picture here?

It's where Quick Access is on the left and files are in the main area. Like the images in this link.

I've noticed things are changing days after the latest update. First, it was the computer refusing to go to sleep or hibernate and suddenly, that problem disappeared.
Before that, rebooting the machine, the 'Restart' would just hang there for near two minutes then the rest of the reboot would be normal. Suddenly for no reason, that problem also disappeared. I'm wondering what next is going to happen, such as blue plumes of smoke ascending up from the back of this computer!

After installing KB4566782 a customer no longer can access their Fileserver (Windows 2012R2, latest build). He get a Network error (see attached image).
If he uninstall the update it works great again, but this weekend the update has been installed again, and the same annoying error is back. Anyone has a tip or fix for this error? KB4566782 Cumulative Update Windows 10 v2004 build 19041.450 - Aug. 11-image007.png

Uninstall the update then defer updates for up to 365 days. Hopefully Microsoft will fix it over the next few months.

    Yeah, me too!

My big trouble (apart from all the un and re installs) is that ADE DRM is now apparently corrupted as an after effect.

I had updated my Laptop and Desktop to 2004 using MCT as it was not offered through WU.
Today 2004 was offered through WU on my wife's PC which is identical to my PC.
It went fine and is running great. Eighty days after release.

Now I can concentrate on 2004 CU's until 2009 is released.

As mentioned previously, kb4566782 wouldn't install for me.

I had to do an in place re-install and that's got me up to Windows Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.450).

The only problem with the re-install (from a directory created with MediaCreationTool2004.exe) was that the Bluetooth Support Service was not set to start automatically (a bit strange as I thought that would be the default install option). Once I changed that from Manual to Automatic startup, everything was fine.

Oh...here's the latest CU thread. I've been having a lonely party while the rest of you been hanging out here. Social distancing.

This update has been working fine for me since it's release.
