downloaded and installed no problem but when did the restart it failed and the download started again?????

46 minutes to the desktop. Now for the .NET update which is becoming a bugbear.

Quick Question, when you post the time to desktop does that include downloading as well or just installation.

One Hour and 10 minutes to desktop. Still removing one of my registry entries on every update.

From checking the updates to the desktop. So yes, including downloading

I time it from when I click install and eventually get to the desktop.

Hmm thank you all, the reason I ask is, I normally time from after download and post the time for installation only so, depending on how you work it out in my case add about 20 mins for downloading, I don't have the fastest internet connection(around 60 mbits/sec).

Everything from check for updates to the desktop after the restart for me.
