This build took 1 hour from start to finish. It also installed on the first try and I used the Windows Update. Much better then the last few releases.

Microsoft has released an ISO file for Windows 10 Insider Preview version 2004 build 20150 for the Dev Channel (Fast ring).

I'm glad to see MS release the ISO so quickly. I hope they continue to do this so we have another option for when Windows Update fails.

I downloaded 20150 in 40 minutes using WU. All seems OK but I was asked to install .NET again for the fifth+ time. I also noticed a change when you click on Start and type (i.e.) winver the display comes up but the "Best Match" window stays open...it used to close and now clicking on the screen closes it.

    The update went well, apparently...

Installation took 53 minutes, better than the previous build.

A slow update for me 66 minutes to the desktop.

Also did another check for updates after the main install and once again got the .NET Framework CU. Seven times now

You guys need to buy an SSD. Took me less than 30 minutes.

Just saw the news on the MVP Yammer forums. Jumped right onto my 2 test machines and downloading now. Will follow up if anything interesting happens. They're coming a bit faster now. Maybe we'll see the new Channel terminology in the resulting Start --> Settings --> Update & Security --> Windows Insider Program information. Can anybody confirm or deny this? Thanks!

When I did the restart to install the .net update, Windows couldn't sign in to my account. I had to click on sign out and try again. The second try worked.

I have a SSD. I think after the download the drive is only part of the install speed. I think the other part is how many programs are installed.

That's true. More you have, longer it takes to build Windows.old. Then there are some parts that are CPU intensive, so running an i3 1.8GHz screamer may take a while.

I reset my Fast, oops Development Ring, oops Channel, a couple of builds ago, so I'm running a bare bones Fast Development Ring Channel. 25 minutes Check to Desktop.
