Well, Windows was just winding me up because Windows Update has returned to the earlier message, saying it's now not yet ready to play the 2004 game. I'll not be forcing the FU to 2004 - too many other things to worry about just now

It's along meandering road to this build.

No point in forcing it. I have 2004 on some machines and 1909 on others, I'm hard pressed to find anything significantly new in 2004 except, perhaps, Cortana.

Hi, now seen two instances of users reporting System Restore 'stuck' after hours of supposedly restoring in 2004. I'm wondering if anyone can reassure me that SR in 2004 can complete a restoration - even if it's only aborting with an error message! Thanks.

Are we assured that Nvidia will release something to satisfy the "Mitigated" description?

Yes, older cards wont accept the latest updates. Mine is stuck at 342.01 &. Nvidia wont go beyond that, yet. It has to be driver 358 or higher.

13 minutes: 'System Restore is restoring the registry....'
20 minutes: 'System Restore is removing temporary files...'
20 minutes: 'System Restore is complete.'
