I feel they will delay it. At the moment 2004 is "good enough" for public testing without data loss issues only and for people who want to follow development to make sure 2004 works on their setups and hardware.

If you mean the download for the upgrade then no. it's probably between 3 and 4 GB.

kado897 is correct, the download to install a Feature Update like this one is about 4GB.

What rqhhe may be thinking of is that upgrading to any Feature Update will use up about 20-25GB of your free space. This is temporary and will be released after 10 days when the Windows.old folder is automatically deleted.

maybe more than 10 days ago don't remember exactly I installed window 10 pro-1909 and of 31.5 GB free space on C drive, only 7 GB is free with no additional Softwares installed.and this true of win 10 ver 2004 build 19613.1000 bcz prior to it I installed it but it had audio bug and lots of freezes and the above-discussed space problem.
    Strange!

Your ver 2004 build 19613.1000 is a Fast Ring Insider build, so bugs should be expected. But for more stable builds you should be able to clean up Windows.old yourself if it is not automatically removed.

Or just run Storage Sense manually from the Settings app. I just cleaned up 30GB that way, and that includes the Windows.old folder.

Just make sure it isn't set to delete your files from your Downloads folder, in case you have something important there.

Better yet, don't use the Windows download folder for things you may want to keep. Set your own up on a different drive.
