In file explorer, recent files “after you’ve opened some files, will show the most recent ones here” the text has weird characters in it, happened in the past..it’s back

Wow. After reading your post, I was dismayed, as Windows has refused to load .net Framework 3.5 for such a long time. But I just was able to load it as if there was never a problem. So this is very interesting that suddenly Windows allows this download.
Have just installed Framework 3.5 on my Surface Pro 4 which is Version 1909 RTM in order to set up OneDrive.

Yes I am, would be grateful, Aria2 is screwing me up.
Just tested with uup and it worked, aria2 convert and it worked as usual. Maybe it’s just timing but I just downloaded and iso was created without any issues

UUPDump, and Aria2 was sick earlier yesterday, but cleared up later in the afternoon. Seemed the script couldn't quite get all the parts, least here. All ok now.

    Hi folks

One Drive working OK, language still a bit patchy --why it works perfectly in standard (latest) build but not this one --- still only a minor defect.

I do notice on networking though -- could be the Virtual Machine manager -- using real network card as passthru (Intel wired ethernet) I'm not getting anything like the same performance on networking as using the red hat win-virtio para virtualised network driver which does seem to give me the 10 Gbs capability of the hardware -- the LED goes from Orange to Green on my hardware showing the 10Gbs option is working --- whether that's actually deliverable on my Lan might be questionable though -- file transfers go pretty fast though.i

So I'm not counting that as a Windows defect --will test out LAN speed re-booting this machine directly into Windows -- both OS'es stored on identical SSD's so should be no difference due to that).

@dencal -- you really do seem to have bad luck with these releases -- why don't you drop Ms a line and ask them for a nice free trip to the Ms Campus in Seattle with your hardware so they can test it out with you -- if it works then I'd imagine pretty well anybody else will only get minor problems after that --- might be a nice little holiday / vacation for you !!!! Good luck if you can get it -- who knows what some companies will do these days to get some decent PR !!!.

    Cheers

    Hi folks again

Not sure if this is new to this release but there's an option to stop manufacturers apps which I suppose includes drivers for the hardware in windows update.

Some people who have problems with some of the latest manufacturer driver updates / other apps might like this feature. Default is set to ALLOW.

Net 3.5 also installs via add programs and features --I don't really need it but just testing as a matter of course.

SSH server (OpenSSH) also works - you have to add this manually though -- good for quick file transfers etc --- if you have filezilla client on another machine you've got a really nice GUI system (and fast and secure) for file transfer -- don't forget though if openssh server is installed you need to use the sftp prefix in the server address. Openssh client is installed by default. You have to activate the services as well --there's another post on doing this though. Suffice to say its working on this release.

Installing SFTP/SSH Server on Windows using OpenSSH :: WinSCP

Thanks. Do you think I could find where to up-vote it? Stupid way of running a feedback hub; so I added a comment.
Maybe once it is added to a collection there is no up vote and you can only add similar feedback - which seems oddly unnecessary but unsurprising

    edit: words are hard
