First, what's Turing, the enigma, Bohr and graphene got to do with M$ putting America first??? LOLOLOL!!! What we know for sure is the UK would be speaking German IF America didn't send them weapons and other resources for years before we even entered the war. And the US entering the war WAS the reason the Axis powers lost.
Second, the internet was developed in the US Government. The earliest records published are empirical evidence of that. Anything else is revisionist history. Also, M$ developing for America first is ALWAYS going to be the case. And the rest of the world WILL continue to buy it, because they are completely entrenched in common computing, and have a gigantic lead over open source projects. Apple is ALSO an American company. So there is no "if it (M$) wants to be a Global player"... THEY ARE "THE" GLOBAL PLAYER, like it or not. That's just life. Interesting reply though.
Just installed Windows 10 SDK Preview Build 19023.

Hi there
Interesting speculation -- might be USA (there wouldn't actually be one at all) would be speaking Spanish or one of the native American languages if UK (England at the time as UK didn't as an entity until some time around 1700's ) hadn't started to colonize America in the first place !!!!!!!!
Actually as far as a Global player -- of course Ms is a global player but it doesn't make a lot of sense to ignore your global markets or pay them "short shrift".
Even the largest corporations can disappear with wrong marketing decisions and bad technical investments -- look at the once mighty Kodak or Frigidair companies --both household words in their day, General Motors which is struggling in the modern world of climate change etc etc.
ARPNET was the actual thing invented -- was originally so that a few computers could communicate on something like a University network -- the actual Internet was when the http protocol was designed and developed which became the Internet and that definitely was NOT a US invention.
ARPANET - Wikipedia
Remember also the Internet (without witch Ms wouldn't have got anywhere near its massive size and global penetration) was invented by Tim Berners Lee (a Brit I think) -- although as Icelander my grandparents still remember when UK invaded Iceland around 1940 in WWII and then handed their area over to the USA which became for years the Keflavik US / NATO base until becoming the main International commercial airport not all that many years ago !!!!! --History is full of surprising facts and of course nobody with any sense fails to recognize that the world on the whole has been a better place BECAUSE of the contributions of USA (and still a great place to visit etc).
You might find this a little interesting read !!!

I found Aomei sometime ago. It will remove any recovery partition to the left of C: Best way to do it, after instaling Aomei is to right click on recovery and select delete, then OK. Right click on recovery again and select merge with C:. Then click on apply, at top right, click on Ok until it displays option to run Windows PE. From there it does all the work.pr11t said: You only need one ~478 MB on the right side, next to the systems C drive, if want to get rid of second old leftover from left side made by <19H2 build, then usually best is to make clean install, otherwise future upgrades might fail. More details why default location was changed for Recovery: Windows 10 Version 20H1 brings an important change in Windows Setup
Build 19025 had Recovery partition size 596 MB, 1903 had 529 MB, Build 19030 had 478 MB, mentioned it before not long ago.
Did you clean install 20H1 or had upgraded from 19H2 build?
Gort
PS It also deletes partitions on the right of C: Windows PE not needed to complete.
Good morning, Gort.
I replaced my spinner with a Samsung 500 GB SSD EVO 860. What you're saying doesn't really compute for me. As you can see, the partition to the right is a "Healthy (OEM Partition)", not Recovery.
The spinner's still in there (unplugged), waiting to be formatted as a data drive. I'm guessing the OEM partition is something Samsung did?
"Unallocated space" just means nothing has been done with it. It can have a partition created in that Unallocated space then formatted and have a drive letter assigned for use but even at 23GB I don't how much use it would be in this day and age. 15 to 20 years ago that would be a humongous about of space but it could hold a lot of music ripped from CDs or a large number of Documents, kind of a users choice.
Also possible, since that Unallocated space is at the end of the disk it should be able to be added to the main partition C: using the Expand feature in Disk Management.
