I started my desktop at 1:50 and my laptop at 1:54. The desktop is at 94% and the laptop has already restarting. Guess the speed of the CPU does matter.
Use of HW resources by update is very low anyway. It probably matters more how complicated windows on particular computer are.

Undoing changes made....Can you imagine going for a test drive in a vehicle, each time failure to start...,this has got to be a joke.... time wasted trying to install is time lost testing and doing quests as I have only so much time to spend on this.

My laptop took 56 minutes and my desktop took 1 hour and 6 minutes. Not bad compared to some of my insider updates.

I do have more software installed on my desktop. My desktop is my main computer and my laptop is more of a I want to relax in my recliner and surf the internet.

Edit: I forgot to mention that my desktop is a i5 and my laptop is a i7.

One of this years somebody might figure out why it works fast on some systems without any problems and refuse on others.

I'll update tomorrow morning but I found this interesting...

I've just completed my daily differential backup and just look at the change in file size for today. WOW. Although I have updates paused, this would seem to show that something is going on behind the scenes. I'll be interested to see how quick it all runs tomorrow all being well.

I wish MS would allow us to choose between UUP or ESD. For some of us UUP is more trouble than worth.
