do you have any issues with the search not working after awhile?

i haven’t tried your settings yet I will tomorrow it’s late here atm but am curious to know if it does not slowdown and stop working as I had that issues earlier today where after running the shutup10 settings it all seemed to work properly them after a while it stopped working again.

I would press the windows button on the keyboard and start typing say “winver” and nothing would type as if the search function had ceased working?

Ill try your settings and see how I go.

Ran into the same issue with Search not working with Shutup10 "..search with bing disabled...."
Setting this option back to standard search is working again... no high CPU usage...

But... after KB4512941 Shutup10 is not starting at all!

Had to deinstall KB4512941 again to get Shutup10 back up an running...

Anyone of you got the same issue?

Thanks for your comment. I do not guess its an CPU issue. This was gone after this "bing thing".
Shutup10 starts but only the icon in start-/taskbar is visible for 1-2 secs. Then its closing automaticly.

Have to dig deeper I guess. Anyway thanks!

So I did. Digged deeper and found the problem!
It is RivaTuner (part of Afterburner installation)!

After I put the OOSU10.exe to the list in RivaTuner and set Application detection Level to NONE Shutup10 ist starting normally again!

Found out that in system log was an ERROR entry with d3d9.dll and OOSU10.exe.
After some net digging some reported the same with some older games.

But why this only happens with KB4512941 is out of my knowledge. Howsoever!

Sounds like you had manually edited it off.
Why not just export the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search key and then set BingSearchEnabled =1.
Then upgrade and should be good.

That is odd, I use RTSS 7.2.3 beta3 w/o issues with OO shutup10.
