    Hi folks

I think I've started something here

    However that's not the intention.

Much as I disagree with UK Brexit --that's their electors choice in a democratic vote and they will have to eventually abide by that result and live with it whatever the outcome or consequencies (although they could join EEA like Iceland etc) the point is it's up to the USER what to install or not install -- and I think this idea of Ms being able to scan all your devices and decide whether or not it thinks the security is good enough and then install its software based on its rather than YOUR decisions is really a step too far.

Even if 80% of systems will be better off (allegedly) --is this what we should do -- Humans live by experience -- and surely making mistakes is part of the Human Learning experience (as UK citiizens might find out later on this year) -- we (Iceland) did withdraw our candidate application to join EU after Banking crisis but we remained in EEA and that's been fantastic for us ever since BTW). A Risk of course but Humans need to control what they do -- we can't always be dictated to by AI (artificial intelligence) or "Best Practices".

BTW there's still quite a large pro EU movement here -especially from younger voters so our EU candidate application might well go ahead again -- New rules mean we don't have to join the EURO which was a big problem in the original application,

    Cheers

    Hi @jimbo

Guess it's all just banter that livens up the thread a little, though how any talk of brexit could liven up anything I'm not sure.

As for choice on what gets installed on a users devices, I agree it should be the users choice end of. I do though firmly believe that MS have made every effort to become a leading AV provider and it's my AV of choice these days.

This made it's way to the Definitions downloaded starting today, with a name change to the definition files.

There are enough problems on this side of the pond that I can't even think about yours over there.

I'm sure we'll hear a lot more, given our leaders seem to be getting very cosy with each other.

Thanks @f14tomcat. Was messing around with it and somehow couldn't get it to load in signature. It's correct as far as size is concerned so don't know why it won't show correctly. Unless I misunderstand the process. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Looks to be the right size. I wonder whether you have the SIGPIC tags
