Also, not sure if you read back or not, but UUPDUMP just started doing something new , in that they have multiple releases of the same build, which you'll see as Windows 10 Insider Preview 18932.1000 (rs_prerelease) amd64, Windows 10 Insider Preview 18932.1000 (rs_prerelease) (2) amd64, and Windows 10 Insider Preview 18932.1000 (rs_prerelease) (3) amd64, for example, for the 18932 x64 builds. If you're on Skip Ahead builds, you'll want (3) for the updated release, and the one with no numbers for the original release (though there is probably a reason that M$ re-issued it, so you're *probably* better with (3). If you're not on Skip Ahead, but regular Fast track on Insiders builds, you'll want (2).
And since you ran the .ISO, and we're at the same installing screen, I'm guessing that means you mounted the .ISO and ran setup.exe, right?
I used Windows 10 Insider Preview 18932.1000 (rs_prerelease) amd64 to install on a new ssd with no problem (fast ring as supposedly there is no difference now with skip ahead). Of course M$ has released the "offical" 18932 for Insiders (thx Shawn) so maybe that's the one to use. I would however be interested in how you found out this information about UUPDUMP - there is no difference whatsoever in the filesizes of iso 1, 2 or 3 although of course that doesn't mean there are no differences in the binaries - but my guess is that is likely.
5.2 has been released for Fedora Rawhide. I believe I may install that instead of Debian 10 - I can never seem to get Workstation Server to work on that distro. VMware installed on Windows 10 ssd but I need to copy a few VMs to that disk as the ones I developed on Linux are storage on a RAID 0 formatted with XFS. As a sidenote I'm so glad that I'm not being trolled for discussing Linux - we are all grownups here - right?
Well, Linux is in Windows 10 now and there should be a new dedicated section to discuss tips and tricks. Dreaming of a lightweight Windows open source distro for Sandbox or Hyper-V. Who knows, we're at the beginning.
Fedora is a computer language that I don't manage well and learning Opensuse was not easy compare to the sudo apt-get school that I know well for many years.
Who knows what the future is made of? One thing sure, Microsoft is open-minded.
