The zip issue has not been released to the RP ring yet.
Looks like they're done with RP for now. Or too busy fixing bugs

Just a band-aid for a wound that needs sutures.

I'm sure that sounded clever in your own head but in the real world we use the tools that are available to us. On Apollo 13 they created a CO2 scrubber out of junk. Whatever gets the job done.

That would involve admitting they had done something wrong. MS doesn't like to do that. In their minds, it would be like God admitting an error.
Yup! Even the MS fanboys are getting their drift..(and yup, that's an unintended pun... ) methinks.

Will the update name be changed to The Halloween update? If the roll out doesn't go past the 31st
If it happens on the 31st, may be called the "Pumpkin Patch"

Not Unpaused yet as far as i'm aware, and still on 17763.55, Preview builds last heard on 17763.104, and no other news as yet if it's ready to be unpaused or when it's gonna be or anything, total and complete silence from Microsoft thus far

No, not unpaused yet. I am still running .55 and I am loving it.

Running build 17763.104 here and it has been running really well for a couple of weeks then yesterday morning after booting the PC it threw a complete wobbler on me. Apps were taking ages to start up and my event viewer was full of search errors, Cortana and Edge didn't work and rather than try and manually fix it I did a Reset. Now I've reinstalled the apps that Windows deleted it all seems fine again.
    No idea what caused it
