@alphanumeric, it asks you to set up the three security question in order to help you get in if you forget your password. I'm not sure when this was introduced, but a clean install of 1803 will do exactly the same thing.

The way to avoid it is to not have a password to forget in the first place. Set a blank password when asked to set up the first local account, then if you want a password set it after logging in for the first time.
Yeah, I haven't setup with a local account in ages. Not since the last time I clean installed Education. Next time I'll just leave the password blank, if there is a next time. I can just install Home and just do a change product key to switch to Education.

    Hi,
The answers don't have to be anything related to the questions :)
Yeah, I know, just wasn't in the mood to do it. I should probably just take the day off and go play with my XBOX or something.

Lots of eventlog-warnings after upgrading with the "upgrade-assistent" .
What worries me is ; I cant find a solution for ; User Profile Service id=1534 ! The eventlog runs over and over , its a tsunami of these id=1534 , a solution would be very welcome......
( went back with Macrium to RS4 , untill a solution appears )

    IPv6 now a requirement?

Did I miss something, did Microsoft indicate the IPv6 is now required to allow Edge internet access? because after upgrading to 17763.1 on all my computers, Edge would not bring up any web pages, always errored out. Chrome no problem, but until I checked IPv6 in each adapter properties no sites accessible, after checking the box for both Wired and wireless I can get to any site I want. Was this indicated in any of the prerelease info on this build?

After this 1809 update my memorv usage has gone up from 7% at system start up, to 21% idle. LatencyMon crashes if you stop it then start it again without closing it first. Game bar won't launch after I click on it. If you run the Automatic maintenance service it never finishes and stays running until you manually stop it.

If you check for Windows updates afterwards (from running the Automatic maintenance service) it will infinitely check for updates leaving you no choice but to restart your PC.

Programs have to be terminated when shutting down sometimes unless you edit your registry to auto-end tasks at shutdown.
I have the exact same issue with automatic maintenance on 2 of my computers out of 3 that I own. All of them were updated yesterday. One doesn't have any issues, the other 2 never finish the maintenance and have to manually stopped.

It occurred about 4 or 5 builds back (Insiders), and it was mentioned back then. Not all reported this problems, but happened to me. So somewhere in August, July possibly.
