The URI ms-settings:network-wifisettings no longer works in 1809.

From a command prompt the command start ms-settings:network-wifisettings should open Settings at the WiFi's 'Manage known networks' page but nothing opens. If Settings is open before using the command the it briefly changes to 'Manage known networks' then closes, so this is a bug in 1809 rather than the URI not being correct. The page can be reached by navigating to it from the Settings app, just not opened directly with its URI.

I have tried some of the other URI's in @Brink's tutorial and they still work, so far it's just this one I've found that doesn't.

    Hello @Bree,

I'm seeing the same bug with that URI in build 18247 as well.

Is this some sort of a bug, because I don't have anything in Temporary Internet Files folder, but I got this, and it can't be deleted at all:

According to this I would not be offered it (through clicking on check for updates) only if laptop is incompatible/has compatibility issues which doesn't seem likely. A friends computer is the same and got it.

Thanks for confirming that. I reported it in the Hub so let's see it it gets fixed (no MS account, so can't follow its progress though).

Can anyone say what the x86 download size is when updating via WU? My current 1803 installation is fully up to date. I have a very limited data plan so unfortunately I have to be very aware of these things

System Protection wasn't turned off on any of the machines I've upgraded.
Mine did. I have 4 computers.
To my understanding, at least it happens that way on my computers, is that ………….
each time a new "version" is installed, i.e. from ver 1803 to 1809, System Protection will be turned off. All previous restore points are removed as they are not applicable to the system any more.
System Protection has to be configured and I always create a new restore point manually.

Using Windows 10 Update Assistant, October 2018 is installing on my Office Laptop. 84% complete.

Edit: 17763 is now loaded on one of three office systems without any issues I can see.

My 2GB atom tablet with 64GB drive updated faster than the other laptops & desktops all with SSDs.
Maybe because the tablet is 32-bit Windows?
More likely simply less to process.
