KB4346084: Intel microcode updates

Summary
Intel recently announced that they have completed their validations and started to release microcode for recent CPU platforms related to Spectre Variant 3a (CVE-2018-3640: "Rogue System Register Read (RSRE)"), Spectre Variant 4 (CVE-2018-3639: "Speculative Store Bypass (SSB)"), L1TF (CVE-2018-3615, CVE-2018-3620, CVE-2018-3646: "L1 Terminal Fault"). In addition to microcode updates previously released in KB4100347 to address Spectre Variant 2 (CVE 2017-5715: "Branch Target Injection"), this update also includes microcode updates from Intel for the following CPUs.

This update is a standalone update targeted for Windows 10 version 1803 (Windows 10 April 2018 Update) and Windows Server Version 1803 (Server Core). This update also includes Intel microcode updates that were already released for these operating systems at the time of release to manufacturing (RTM). We will offer additional microcode updates from Intel through this article for these operating systems as they become available to Microsoft. This mitigation is on by default for Windows client systems so no action is required. Please ensure that mitigation against Spectre Variant 2 is enabled for servers through the registry settings that are documented in the following article:

Well, I've just been on to Intel as I have a Pentium Gold G5400 that is reporting CPUID 906EA and uCode 0x96
I see they are probably going to branch the uCode updates by CPU strata
Skylake onward
Haswell, Broadwell
Sandy Bridge, IvyBridge (possibly at a stop)

Hmmm, when I serched for updats at WU 10 minutes ago, my Windows 10 Home 64bit found this update: KB4100347, but not KB4346084 as you wrote ??!?
Is this because my Windows 10 is a Danish version? Windows version is 1803 build 17134.228.

It (KB4346084) installs manually, even if/though I don't need it. So it's a .dll injection update that updates information that is not already present in that .dll (mcupdate_genuineIntel.dll)
Although KB4100347 is NOT installed, it tells me it is but this is because my laptop BIOS includes 0x2A?
I'm getting tagged with KB4100347 coming up as an update on my Kaby Lake i7-7700HQ - 906E9 with microcode 8E… The article shows it applying microcode 84 which was applied by the OEM in Bios updates dated 2/19/18 and again 3/15/18. 8E was applied in Bios updates dated 7/3/18 and 8/10/18.
KB4346084 doesn't list my processor (which is probably why 4100347 is being pushed).
