Sometime I think my parents should have used Mistake as my middle name. I sure can make them.

I noticed that somehow on this build the following features are much better:

    Copy & Paste :- Fast
Cut & Paste :- Lightning fast
    Move :- Lightning fast
    Deleting :- Fast

This conclusion was based on a play with a 3GB folder over and over again.

    I am so ashamed...

Some 30+ years in IT, calling myself a pro. Yet, my issue with ISO upgrade demanding a product key was simply because my ISO was wrong edition. A newbie mistake, I made a PRO N ISO and tried to upgrade standard PRO with it.

Of course upgrade failed asking a product key.

If I were a real man, I should request that Microsoft removes my MVP status and TenForums resets my rep to zero. But, as all my four ex-wives can tell you, I am just an idiot, not a real man, so I'll keep my badge and rep
The funny thing is I penned a reply asking if you had mixed iso versions but I thought no, Kari would not make such a silly elementary mistake and deleted my post before posting it as I thought it would seem to be patronising.

As the old phrase goes, "been there done that, got the T shirt". We are all guilty of a brain fart now and then - LOL.

As another old phrase says "the person who never made a mistake, never did anything"!

In the end, my friend, it just shows you have that wonderful attribute - you are simply human :-D.

I have to wonder if UEFI versus standard BIOS plays into the ability to get sets -- my two computers that will run sets are UEFI's and the one which says it has sets installed is a standard BIOS - on which sets will not run. The other computer - laptop is BIOS based and will not run sets. Is there a connection, does anyone know?
Nuh Uh . . . My computers are all UEFI and I don't have Sets anywhere.

@Kari is not talking about the general Windows cursor but the cursor in a command/powershell session which is not related to the Windows cursor.
Right, but I didn't know that, so I learned something and like my cursor better now.

Since people are fessing up to their humaniy I'll confess that I did happen to do a clean install of build 17682 even though I essentially have no BIOS at all. What I mean is that since build 17666 I cannot enter into the motherboard setup program because when I press the del key right after a reboot or restart using the switch in the back rather than the buttonn in the front of chasise (i.e. "cold start:) I get asked for the BIOS password which I never ever set. Bottom line - I need to get a new machine .

Anyway I'm seeing if I can upgrade the Windows Server Insider butild 17639 to 17677 which was just realeased. I believe this will work as advertised but I'm interested what is does to the boot loader.

Interesting. Very smooth upgrade. No windows.old. Disk Cleanup does have Downloaded files including the ISO I used to run setup from. I'm imaging the entire drive using Terabyte Unlimited Image for Windows

Come to think of it, it does look faster but when I run benchmarks on disks there was no change in performance.
