Just a bonus for me in that the Map App works in this build.

Have you tried the legacy console in properties?
Yes. Switching to legacy mode, no issues.

It kind of makes you wonder how such a bug can manifest when there is no obvious changes to command or powershell?

Installed 17862 last night and it took about an hour. I didn't sit in front of the computer as I normally do and this time when the onscreen install finished, the computer rebooted without me telling it to. First time this happened but it may have been an after hours reboot. Everything going fine so far but I have not played with it much.

    I am so ashamed...

Some 30+ years in IT, calling myself a pro. Yet, my issue with ISO upgrade demanding a product key was simply because my ISO was wrong edition. A newbie mistake, I made a PRO N ISO and tried to upgrade standard PRO with it.

Of course upgrade failed asking a product key.

If I were a real man, I should request that Microsoft removes my MVP status and TenForums resets my rep to zero. But, as all my four ex-wives can tell you, I am just an idiot, not a real man, so I'll keep my badge and rep

No cursor, or same colour as background - maybe it will be visible after a background colour change?
Perhaps you right but what made me come up with that conclusion was that when highlighting the CP windows there's no blinking cursor.

About background change applies only if Windows change it because I didn't.

MVPs need erasers on their pencils, too.

I have same, big fat white blinking cursor in command prompt and Power shell. Was always like that.
So, yours didn't changed at all right?

Well, today, I restarted my computer that I used with SETS yesterday. Sets is not active today -- this has happened before. What is this with sets? Do they want us to experiment with it or not? I don't get it. I did check settings and it is showing setup for SETS, as always.

The other thing I have noticed is that every time I restart the computer, it has asked me to verify my identity. Never had that before. Except with new installs.
