Quick question...if in future I restore my previous build via Windows (rather than a backup), will Windows know not to download the same new build again (ie will it wait for the next build?) Thanks

No, it will download the build again and again and again—from My experience.

On one of my computers, I do have tabs on calculator, so guess I have sets. I'll play with that later.

Oh boy! Currently got updates on Pause for 7 days. So if a build is awful, it will keep trying to install unless I switch off updates completely. Not good..Macrium took 7 minutes to get 17655 back :)

This is a clean install of Insider Build 17661.1001. It's an ISO created by a TF friend, saved to a bootable USB stick using Rufus.

I have the same error message "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005)". I installed AVG Free last night, it scanned and I shut down. This morning when I booted up, I got that error message. I tried to uninstall AVG Free, but it won't uninstall.

I downloaded the Firefox Stub and tried to install, but I got that error message again. Same with Cyberfox.

I was in Skype with a friend and wanted to point her to a particular post for some instructions. I right clicked the post number>copy link and tried to paste it into our conversation. No go . . . instead a prior snippet was pasted. I tried again with the same results. Sigh . . .

I don't know if I should go back and do a second clean install or what . . .
Wynona, try reset first (if you don't have a clean system Image)

You've spend about 2 and and half hours more than me. OMG!
I think my problem was I got impatient last night and rebooted when I thought it was stuck. Then when it finally got unstuck it kept bouncing.

I had the same downloading experience and shut it down after about 4 hours. Last night before bedtime I let it go again and when I woke up I was all done.

on my 17655 there was no option for skip ahead this time, so will download and make iso and install from rufus usb drive, I kept trying to reset back to fast and skip ahead but wouldn't save changes this time

I think this build is the longest install than any previous builds.
