KB4100375 Windows 10 Insider Release Preview Build 17133.73 - Apr.10 Insider
-
Before resorting to this, remember if you add a flash drive, disable hibernation, do disk cleanup, move data to sd card etc, you can usually upgrade. I strongly recommend making a Macrium Reflect image first (and I mean MR as I tested all the main players and only MR and Easeus worked on 32bit tablets).
Clean installing on a tablet is fraught with issues as many tablet drivers are not in standard MS isos. Many have had issues with no touch or screen rotation after a clean install because drivers were not available. Even traditional powershell driver backup commands do not always backup these special drivers.
Thanks for the additional advice. One thing I have to check and see is if they are on X86 or x64, that part I do not recall.
As for clean installing - trust me, I know all about that. Same applies to older laptops, of which I Have 2 right here that I am running on IP builds as well. Clean installing on them is always a PITA. It's gotten so bad that I have the entire applicable OEM driver repositories already downloaded and saved on my Flash drive if i ever need to clean install to them again.
The good news is that both of their laptops are identical, so it will be a single set of downloads for those OEM drivers that I may end up needing. The bad news is that I would have to take their machines one at a time and do this, as they need to keep one around for use.
So, just to be clear, even if I have the .ISO, if it doesn't have the required free space it still will not perform an inplace upgrade, correct?

Yes, because you are in the insider program.
The ESD files that the MCT will use have already been leaked, when you create an ISO with those ESD and then you do a completely clean installation with that ISO, that option is managed by the insider program, I'm almost sure that all the people who install SCU through WU next week will see that in their systems, I suppose that for a short period of time because Microsoft will correct it with a cumulative update, let's wait and see if this is confirmed the other week.

Interesting concept that makes sense.
Has anybody clean installed this build without entering Insider program? I am curious if this is a build hardcoded thing or just user force enabled option because one is an insider.
UPDATE: HERE is the link to the original question.
UPDATE: Never mind, I got my answer HERE

That was nice and smooth! RP FCU>SCU, retaining RP status in 48 minutes, ISO included. Hope the real thing goes as smooth.

thx! exactly what i'm experiencing. having done clean installs with either MediaCreationTool.exe /Selfhost and leaked products.cab or current uup.rg-adguarg isos in vms, i still cannot change the feedback frequency despite settings correctly showing that i'm not enrolled in the insider program. already tried gpedit.msc to no avail...

OK, so I had downloaded 17133.1 on 28 march via UUP DUMP, again on April 3 (the first time that UUP DUMP had the 1803 available, the one that Kari said above was not working yesterday) and again today. None of those three .ISOs are the same, hash checks prove it. The oldest one for IP is also the smallest, while the one from Tuesday (the first 1803) is slightly larger, and the one from today (the current 1803) is the same size as the older 1803 but with a different hash.

The ISO that I used to make a clean install of 17133 is 4,057,394 kb. Is this like any of yours?

No, but mine won't match up to most people's as I make the x64 US English AIO - meaning it contains all 4 editions.
When using UUP2ISO to make the .ISOs, the filename is as follows:
17133.1.180323-1312.RS4_RELEASE_CLIENTCOMBINED_UUP_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO

Of course it will for it is the real thing already.
Cheers,
