Okay. I need some help. I have exhausted everything I know to do at this point. As I reported in the last thread, my start menu has not worked since I updated to 17107.rs4. Everything else seems to work normally, except I can't get to settings, can 't add a new account and can 't seem to fix what is causing the start menu not to work, by running sfc, or using other Powershell options. I have tried to check my disk, load missing windows components and add a new account through Powershell, but none of those things have worked, and my start menu remains missing. So I also have no way to uninstall that last update or rollback my os. And I can't get to windows update. I tried running the windows update troubleshooter, and it said it fixed it, but it didn't. So I need some ideas from you guys, as I am at a stand still now. Thanks for all help.

i had a similar problem a few months ago, turned out 1 of my 3rd party programs was causing the issue, was called Advanced Systemcare, turned out 1 of the option to boost my performance messed up my cortana/start menu UI
didn't figure it out till i did a clean installation and tried before and after every app i manually install
so try and see if 1 of your apps messing it up

you could try the old style control panel as a way to get there
