Sandbox missing in Windows 10 Education v. 20H2

Hi guys. So I'm running the stated above version of Windows. Virtualization is enabled, a hexa-core AMD processor, 12GB of RAM, all the requirements fulfilled. According to information, published by Microsoft it shall be available on the Education edition as well. Yet among the Windows features there's no such entry to be seen. Does anyone know, did they fail to include it in Education after all or is there something else that shall be done for it to show.. I've gone through and followed tutorials on activating it, none of them mentions turning on Hyper-V in advance. Does this feature have to be turned on in order for Sandbox to appear or not?

    Hi, here are the pre-requisites:

    • AMD64 architecture (64-bit)
    • Virtualization capabilities enabled in BIOS
    • At least 4GB of RAM (8GB recommended)
    • At least 1 GB of free disk space (SSD recommended)
    • At least 2 CPU cores (4 cores with hyperthreading recommended)

"I'm afraid it's only available starting with build 18305 and higher."

    - see comments following which mention a number of difficulties experienced.

I note the pre-requisites in the tutorial omit Education. I've asked the question at the end of the comments- the Tutorial has been updated to include Education.

As I've mentioned, virtualization is enabled and build is newer than 18305...

You can try to enable sandbox on Home edition, see if this will work for your edition of Windows 10.
