    changing administrator


    Hi All, I have been given a Acer Travelmate 253 laptop using Win 10, I would like to change admin ID, can someone suggest where I can find the necessary info. thanks, Roy

    Hello stanroy, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

    If you like, you could create a new account on the computer, make it an administrator account, sign in to the new account, then delete the old account.


    User Account - Add in Windows 10

    Account Type - Change in Windows 10

    User Account - Delete in Windows 10

    I always have two admin accounts on my PCs - one for normal use and another reserve admin account in case I have problems with the main account.
