    Removing startup password/pin etc?

I just bought an as new Dell laptop running windows 10 pro for my wife, and set it up with my Microsoft account.
But my wife does not like having to enter a Pin whenever she starts the Laptop. Two of my other Dell Laptops start up without having to enter a password or pin (just switch it on and it will load directly into Windows.
I remember removing the need for a password or pin, but cannot remember how I did this, and my account settings don't seem to have a way of doing this? Has this been changed by Microsoft? Or is there a way of doing this that I have missed?

Please help or I will have to fight my Dog for my supper again!

Sign in User Account Automatically at Windows 10 Startup <---- use whichever Option seems easier.

You can switch to a local account without a password

My laptop is running W11, but when it was running W10, I had the same setup. When I close the lid to the laptop, it goes into "hibernation". That saves everything I was doing and shuts the laptop down. When I am ready to go to work again, I just open the lid and hit the power button. Everything that was running, when I closed the lid, comes right back up. This takes about 15 seconds, but still faster than a shutdown and reboot. Then I just continue where I left off. The only time I actually need my pin, is when I reboot the computer for a Windows Update.

You would have trouble at my house. I have four dogs (3 are English Springer Spaniels, 1 is a Springer/Setter mix). Two of them are pretty food aggressive.

Sorry to be late coming back to you all, but life got in the way!
I followed the local account setup, my wife is now happy with her new laptop.
Thank you all for your help.
