On some specific computers, all Windows 10, the usage of badges (plastic cards with chips) are setup for logging into Windows. This works OK.

You can also still login with username and password. The badge only requires a PIN because the username is read from the card.

This means that on each login, you are presented with some icons in the bottom, which allow you to switch between badge or username/password. If however a badge is present, by default it switches to that one, and places the field for entering your badge number.

That is still good.
Now the problem.

The computer gets locked after some time. To unlock, he presents the unlock screen, but now there are more icons shown. All are either for badge or normal username/password, but this is the funny thing:

The one he proposes first, is ALWAYS (or 9 times out of 10) the wrong one.
How can it be "the wrong one".
Well, for the badge logins. he doesn't really show the username of the badge assigned to it.
But it doesn't matter, because it is the right card anyway.
The problem is that he has several icons with the badge image.
But only ONE of them is the correct one.

On top of the screen he shows the username that locked the computer ... which is always the same. And it also doesn't change if you click the icons in the bottom because none of these supposed logins are from another account.

The clue is : when unlocking, he consistently shows an unlock screen for a user that basically didn't lock the computer.
And THEN he says : "Only the signed-in user can unlock the computer."

So, only one of these icons - no matter how many he displays, usually 3 or 4 but sometimes 8. Only ONE of them actually works to unlock, and he never proposed the correct one at first.

There are OTHER badge ports (places to insert more cards if needed), but they are empty.

It's annoying that each time I need to "guess" the correct user to unlock.
On normal computers, you unlock, get an empty field and fill the correct password or PIN.
That is something I can never do .. Keep in mind, the lock is set to 5 minutes, I do this 10, 15, 20 times a day.
