Password dilemma - needed for "Log in" but not for Boot up
I use Windows 10 Home latest edition
When I turn my PC on, it boots straight into my home screen, without the need for a password or code.
That’s because I was able to use netplwiz to turn it off.
However, when I select “Log off” in the Shut Down tab of the Start Menu, the screen blanks to “Signing off” then returns, but requires a password.
I can get back in using a password, but like for Boot up I don’t want to have to use one.
What I don’t understand is having successfully achieved no-password for booting up,
why do I now require one for Log in.
How can I solve this.
