Duplicate user name at login
I tried several solutions I found online and none helped. I don't know what else I could try to do to get rid of it.

Hello @kyojin,
Welcome toTenForums
.
I would advise CAUTION !
Have a look at these . . .
> Enable or Disable Don't Display Username at Sign-In in Windows 10
> Delete User Account in Windows 10
> Delete User Profile in Windows 10
I hope this helps.
Hello kyojin, and welcome.
Did you set up netplwiz to automatically sign in to your account at startup by chance?
If you did, and later made a change to the password, username, or computer name, it can cause you to see a duplicate of this account at startup since netplwiz can no longer automatically sign in.
If this is the case, then you can either set up netplwiz again to update it, or check Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer in netplwiz.

Not by chance, but intentionally. And later I changed my PC name, so I guess it happened because of that.
Currently, I have that option checked. When I uncheck it, the "dummy" account shows up. I tried checking/unchecking it, resetting my PC after that, but it didn't help.
Yes, when it's checked, it doesn't show up. But when I uncheck it, it does. And I want to be logged in automatically.
I had occasion to fix such an issue just a couple months ago, user had added a second account but used the exact same information as the first, all the data ended up in the same folders in C:\Users\USERNAME, couldn't delete either one without losing all data. After all the possible solutions failed the final solution was saving all his data and reinstalling Windows. Bottom line for him, discussed using at least a one-character difference between two similar things.
Setting up netplwiz again with your account and password (not PIN) like in step 4 of option 1 should do it.
