Saving your password with netplwiz util?
Sign in User Account Automatically at Windows 10 Startup
Get thee to the tutorials, man. It's ALL there.
Dan
The sign in screen on resuming from sleep or hibernation is turned off in Settings under the 'Sign in options'.
Turn On or Off Require Sign-in on Wakeup in Windows 10
Note that if you are using a local account without a password then the 'Require sign in' option is not shown. If that is the case, then set a password so that the option appears, change the require sign-in option to 'Never', then set the password back to a blank password.

Thanks Bree, the other two(2) were basically worthless...
I appreciate your time.
Not entirely worthless, if you had set a password for a local account then you would need to use their suggestions as well.
If you use a local account without a password (as I do) then you sign in automatically at start up and don't need them, but you still hit the sign-in screen on resuming from sleep until you work out how to turn it off
I'll back-off the "entirely worthless". Change it to mostly worthless...
Simple request, I want to bypass "Sign In" screen on startup
or
coming out of sleep.
Wellsir, the tutorial I recommended handles the sign-in on startup, I said nothing about coming out of sleep because my computers are all desktops, and I never, ever use hibernation, so I wouldn't speak to that.
Sorry you found attempts to answer your request useless.
Oh, and welcome to TenForums.
My request was a simple one, to read through ALL the tutorials was not what I was looking for. Bree nailed it, that's what I was looking for, also remember I changed from useless/worthless to mostly useless/worthless. BTW- I've been a member of TenForums for over a year and a member of SevenForums before that. I will end with I do appreciate your efforts in trying to help me with my problem.
