How do I disable the lock screen on a Win 10 Home laptop after waking from sleep or on restart?
Under Settings-Accounts-Sign in options there used to be a setting to turn this off. Now I cant see it anywhere. Your advice would be appreciated.
I am using a local administrator account on Win 10 home build 19042.867. There is no password.

Turn On or Off Require Sign-in on Wakeup in Windows 10
from the huge searchable tutorial section.
But note: Option 1 says this (and more):

1Open Settings, and click/tap on the Accounts icon.
2Click/tap on Sign-in options on the left side, and select what you want in the Require sign-in drop menu on the right side. (see screenshots below)
The Require sign-in option will only be available if the account has a password.
You can set "Require sign-in" to "Never" only after you have set an account password.
The option will not appear until you have set an account password.
Once you have set an account password, you may do the following:

Thank you Dalchina and Matthew. That solved the problem. I switched from a local to a Microsoft account. That enabled the option under Accounts/sign in options to disable the login/lock screen after waking from sleep. Then I used run/netplwz to disable requiring a password. Ironically, those two options were not available with a local account. Now Windows will automatically boot into the desktop without clicking on anything; there is no lock screen when awakening from sleep. Thanks again for your help!
