Remove need for password on startup - Netplwiz changed?

I have had to reinstall Windows so am re-setting things to what I want. As a new install I have the latest version. One thing I don't want is to not have to enter a password on startup. In the past I could do this by using NETPLWIZ.
There is one user - me as Admin.
The box one could tick to say whether or not a startup password is needed seems to have gone.
Has Microsoft changed things?

Right-click on the Start button --> Windows PowerShell (Admin)
Run the following line of commands:

(REG Add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\PasswordLess\Device" /V "DevicePasswordLessBuildVersion" /T REG_DWORD /D 0 /F)

The box will appear.

No, but it will be missing if 'passwordless sign in' is enabled, which it may be by default after a clean install.

My clean install has the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\PasswordLess\Device key and DevicePasswordLessBuildVersion is set to 2 (which means ON according to the tutorial). Setting it to 0 restores the checkbox in Netplwiz.

If you turned on Require Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts (aka: passwordless sign-in), you will not see the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer check box.

I have never touched DevicePasswordLessBuildVersion since I clean installed version 20H2.

Nonetheless, I need not enter my password before using my computer.

If you have not set a password for your account you don't need to use netplwiz, you will be signed in without being prompted for a password.

I have set a password for my account.

That option is missing from my "Sign-in options".

Your post is a bit confusing.
- From the title "Remove need for password on startup". I understand that you want to login automatically.
- On second line you wrote "One thing I don't want is to not have to enter a password on startup. From it I understood that you want to sign in to login.

Please clarify
