    Unabling Bypass Windows Login

    Just Upgraded to :

    Edition Windows 10 Pro
    Version 20H2
    Installed on ‎2/‎22/‎2021
    OS build 19042.804
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

It seems there is NO option anymore to Uncheck the Box for Uses, when I Run "netplwiz'
to Boot windows 10 straight to the Dsktop, without putting my Password or PIN.

    - I hope this has been addressed before and if I missed it,my apologies for posting.

    Please help......thanks.

Most of the time it has to do with having "Windows Hello sign-in" enabled !

    If you turned on

Require Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts (aka: passwordless sign-in), you will not see the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer check box.
If your PC is currently joined to a domain, then the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer." box will not be available, and you will need to use OPTION TWO below instead.

If you run the below at a command prompt, is the DWORD a 0(zero) or 2 ?....0 disabled,2 enabled

    Code:
    reg query "hklm\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\PasswordLess\Device" /s

and if you haven't turned it on yourself, then you may find that MS turned it on for you by default. I hit that problem on a machine that only used local accounts - but easily fixed with Regedit
