I'm just wanting to boot straight to the desktop

    Hi,
I'm currently running the latest beta insider build of windows 10 pro version. I'm the only person who uses my computer, it seems as though dear old microsoft has really made it very difficult to not utilize the lock screen and completely be able to bypass the welcome screen and boot straight to the desktop. It seems that I can get rid of one of the items but not both. On previous builds it seems like that was possible. So far I've been in the registry for as well as the group policy editor. I still feel like there must be a way to do this.
    Thanks,
    David

Hi see if this tutorial works with that version:

    Hi dalchina,
For now all I've done is just use the autologin feature that's available in sysinternals. At least now I don't have to type in any information, when I first boot up my computer I see the welcome screen with my name and account image on it. I see the white spinning dots spinning around by the word welcome, and then I'm taken to my desktop. Now if I could just somehow figure out how to bypass the welcome screen entirely and go directly to my desktop I would be so happy.
