Is it possible to bypass the login screen?

    Hello again,

Whenever I boot up my laptop, I get a popup that says that my password is invalid. I click on OK and it goes to another screen where I now have three options to login, all pertaining to my email password. I found the way to switch off the PIN code login but I can't find a way to eliminate or bypass this password login procedure. I don't want to have to log in at all if possible since this is my home laptop that never leaves the house. Is there a way around this?

Thanks in advance for any help on this. 👍

Click on Start menu > type : Run > Enter
In the Run windows, type : control userpasswords2
    Untick Users must enter etc
    Click Apply
in the next window, type in the logon password (or leave blank if none) > OK > OK

Whenever I boot up my laptop, I get a popup that says that my password is invalid.
    - is this in response to an attempt to log in, or does the popup occur at some other time? (Just to be clear, because you then say you're using a PIN).

Do you have a MS live id- is that what you are using to log in?

You do need to resolve the password issue as there are circumstances when this is useful. E.g. before build 2004 comes out, it's needed should you wish to log in in Safe Mode, whether or no you normally use a PIN.

There's a tutorial on bypassing the login procedure. Have you looked in the Tutorial section?

From the tutorial section - searchable list to bookmark:
    Windows 10 Tutorial Index

    You can reset the password:

    Bypass log in

I must apologize for taking so long to thank you for your help with this. The tutorials gave me the answers and information I was looking for to turn off all of the login hoops I was having to jump through. I did not find the answers at first and gave up for a while but finally got it all figured out thanks to you.

    Thanks again and take care.
