About a week ago Windows now asks me for a password to sign into Windows. It never did before this before as long as I can remember. Under user accounts the box that says users must enter a password is unchecked and the user is linked to my gmail account. How do I make Windows skip this step again and log on automatically?
I already have the box unchecked for require username and password. Here is some more info on the startup screen. It usually says password is incorrect and when I hit O.K. it says I can log in using a pin or gmail or Windows password. Also in the bottom left corner there are two accounts with the same name and don't need both accounts do I? I hope this helps more.
Why did I not think that. Thanks for the help guys. Checked and unchecked box and it said new user password and all is good now.Hello @bha19,
As a test, go through the steps in the tutorial again for netplwiz to set it up and enter your password again to see if that may help.
Sometimes checking the box, apply, unchecking the box, OK/apply to set up again helps.
