Signing out of a Local account

    Winver 1903 Build 18362l.175

On any of my Local account machines, if I sign out and try to sign back in I am asked for my password. So far so good. If give it my MS Account password do I get signed in to that MS Account and not my Local Account? That seems to be the case but I thought I would check.

    Thank you.

    Hey mate,

A local account and Microsoft account would be two separate accounts on the computer each with their own separate credentials (aka: sign-in options).

To sign in to Windows 10 with your Microsoft account (if added as an account on the PC), you would need to select the Microsoft account on the sign-in screen and provide your credentials (ex: password) from the available sign-in options for that account.

    Sign in to Windows 10

Do you have a separate account for each?

    OK and Thanks Brink.
