Trouble with Windows picking the right account (or whatever) on bootup

Lately, when I boot up my computer, it seems not to know which account (or whatever) to use. I have to select the proper account, and it gets really annoying.

In the edited photo I attached, you can see that the system seems to be picking the lower of the second two accounts shown in the lower left. That is is not the one I want. I end up having to select the top one on the lower left (with the picture of the calling frog), and then entering a password.

I used to have it so it always picked the one with the calling frog. How do I make it do that again?

I almost always use the account on top (with the frog photo) but Windows selects the bottom one anyway, next time around.

I used to have it so it always bypassed the login screen because I am the only person who has access to this computer. I think that means it is not joined to a domain. I am not an expert on computers, so I'm not quite sure what "joined to a domain" means.

As far as this question - "Is the currently selected account name "Other user" in your screenshot, and is asking to enter both user name and password?" - the system selects the bottom ID. I click on the other ID with my mouse, and that replaces what is in center of the screen. I the enter the password that account.

I did what you said, but that was not really the answer.

And then I realized when it asked for me to give approval by entering ID and password, the ID was NOT the the email account address and password I use for operating systems functions - it was not an address - some letters but missing the @domain.com. I entered the full correct email address and password, and it now work correctly.

maybe it's obvious, but I was calling the bottom ID was simply those characters I saw letters that together did not make up an address. The system was not able to find any ID to match those characters.
