    PC/account sign in problems

    Hi

In settings, my PC is set to never ask for password, aka, automatic sign in each time the PC is turned on

After widows 10 updates, some settings is changed and makes problems. Thats typical microsoft

Earlier, my account on my PC was connected to my microsoft/outlook account, but now its a local account

The automatic sign in works now and then, not at each start up. At last startup, it worked, so Im inside the account now. But earlier today, the sign in required windows password, which I have never had or cant remember. And no, I have not created a windows password on a usb/flash drive.

Now when Im inside the PC/account, how do I reset my local password, when not having an old windows password?

I also tried to reconnect my local account to my microsoft account, but that also requires my windows password. In spite that it stands the text in the box that if I dont have any windows password, leave it open

It's a security risk having no password and windows doesn't like it. If you have auto login you have two problems if you set a password auto won't login as it will try using old password. So first remove auto you can see password set in the registry then set a new password. Once you reboot an sign in with password ok you can go back and set auto. It's worth creating a new administrator account while doing it so you don't get locked out

    Ok

Tried to use regedit, but didnt fint "defaultpassword" under winlogon. using the solution explainer in this thread :

Another standard windows account was created, not an admin account, and this account is what I use now. That may the reason why the default password arent visible in regedit

The new account also causes that the auto log on doesnt work at all on the admin account

Another question is how to reinstall win 10 without have the possibility to use the admin account

If there is no password in the registers then it's blank so you need to add a password to the account and the registers having no password is a big risk and windows doesn't like it

Is it possible to add a password when signed in as a normal user, not an administrator? Eventually how?
