Media Creation Tool (MCT) has now been updated.
The ISO file created by MCT will now install Windows 10 version 2004 build 19041.388
Brink,
Might I suggest that you add a comment to Option 5 [TechBench by WZT] step 5 to the effect that the 'English international' option means en-GB.
Denis
And the "English" option means "en-US", English (United States).
Thanks, @Brink, for this tutorial (and many others you've posted and I'm referred to from various threads!) My second system is a Dell XPS 13 running W10 Pro and I'm still getting to know all its features and functions (both Windows an Dell) as well as how to use / remove (for example, Bing search engine!).
As my 1st system is an older Dell XPS that had a Dell recovery volume within the main disk with C:\, am I right to assume that one or more the recovery volumes on the 2nd system belongs to Dell (for the SupportAssist, Dell Digital delivery, etc.)? My main concern is maintenance of Dell, Intel & 3rd party drivers for various parts Dell had use to build this XPS.
So if I'm not too off-track, when I use one of these .iso files to do clean install, what steps can I take to retain the Dell volume(s)? I've attached screenshots of the internal disk (from disk management and cmd).Any help is much appreciated!
(Sorry for the multiple-edits...the attachments shows up on preview and it's shown under Additional Options section, but once saved, I just see the text message). - just hope files show up on your machine, Brink!)

You can Backup and Restore Device Drivers - TenForumsTutorials but you would need to get any required Dell utility installation files from the Dell website. Goto Dell drivers & downloads and enter your Dell Service Tag.
[Dell Quickset is the only one I bother with]
Denis
Thanks, Denis, for the tip and link to backup all drivers beforehand. I went to Dell drivers & downloads but there's not "Dell quickset" listed for my service tag. Will it show up after I do the clean install and the driver(s) are not longer detected on the machine? Only this showed when I searched with "utility installation".

I'm trying again to share screenshots of my disk/volumes (via disk management & command prompt). It's new machine & I've not used it much so hopefully what's shown is "okay, no red/yellow flags".
Even with multiple recovery partitions of Volume 0? There also seem to be a missing or hidden partition 4?
Secondly, which volumes will likely not be retained after the clean install? and what are those volumes' functions?
I forgot to ask a related key question yesterday: would the product ID & key of Windows 10 Pro pre-installed in my bought-from-Dell machine still be valid to activate the ISO file I've downloaded (Option 5 via TechBench by WZT) for the clean install?
Main reason to do clean install is for me to move users folders out of drive C. I would appreciate recommendations for additional useful / helpful changes that can only be done right after clean installation time....although, please keep in mind I'm still new with using Windows 10! ......I'm almost done with the preparation & will do the clean install in couple of days so please help soon with these last inquiries.
If I understand correctly, clean installation is not necessary.

If you were to do a clean install, you would delete the 2 small recovery partitions, a 16Mb partition you can't see in D. Management, your Windows partition and the EFI partition. Consider removing what looks to be a factory recovery partition. You can keep your data partition. Note that removing these partitions is something you must do - it doesn't happen automatically (see tutorial on clean install, step 14).
If you use the Location tab, note the warning in the tutorial that you should create a disk image before doing so. Threads here list some of the bad mistakes people have made in doing so. Imaging (e.g. Macrium Reflect - free/paid) gives you an easy means of recovery. Personally I'd never use this for reasons I've stated here several times, rather using my OWN folders on a different disk or partition for personal data - which can then be assigned to libraries if desired.is for me to move users folders out of drive C
This is the most convenient option: Backup and Restore Device Drivers in Windows 10
You don't have to run any commands manually.
