I don't know how to explain but here is a pic, I really want to get my files organize, but I added extentions to everything twice I have a whole file of extra stuff from my restore downloads.
The downloads in this tutorial will only restore the default associations for them, so it should cause any issues for you.

It sounds like you are wanting to use the tutorials below to change the icon layout etc.... in File Explorer instead.

Change Folder View Layout in Windows 10

Change Sort by View of Folder in Windows 10

Change Group by Folder View in Windows 10

Turn On or Off Show all folders in Windows 10 Navigation Pane

I Tried step TWO and download the all EXT. down, then I was unable to figure it out, so I tried again after finding the link Open with - > Choose default program

This is for what opens when you right click on a file, click on Open with, and click on Choose default program then I just kept trying, so I have lots of extra stuff I put in a file called Trash on my desk top it has 2 zipped file and all the ext files.

Ok. Just to verify, you are wanting to remove items from the Open with context menu instead?

Remove Programs from Open with Context Menu in Windows

I would recommend to create a restore point before messing with the registry so you could do a quick system restore using the restore point if needed.

I was able to my file explorer clean-up, I was so frustrated with myself but I got what I wanted. Look how clean I have it now! I did back up a restore Thanks to you! and started to deleted and then I lost everything in my file employer, but I started working with the ribbon as you gave me some info on. Poof!! I got it back, some how, with the expectation of my library's and my Tammy's computer. I appreciate your assistance, maybe I have to change my setting on my profile, I never can find the last place I was chatting at.
    Thanks again!

    Great news. You're most welcome.

You should see a My Content drop menu on the toolbar at the top of the forum to be able to see you posts, threads, etc...
