    Hello all,

I stumbled upon this thread from searching away, and it's been super useful!

A quick question, is it possible to use the URI method to open a folder? I can open files, but trying to get my head around how to open a folder in Windows Explorer using it isn't as obvious as I would've thought...

Hello submeg, and welcome to Ten Forums.

I'm not aware of an URI method to open folders, but you might see if the Shell commands or environment variables below to open locations may help for this.

Hi Shawn, answering a thread asking how one might access Windows' firewall, advanced settings directly I came across
wf.msc, and was wondering if it's worth adding somewhere.

E.g. - Type “wf.msc” in the Windows search box and click or tap on the result.
or you could create a shortcut containing wf.msc and that works.

However I'm not sure it fits readily into any of the lists you have.. this one includes on opening Defender..

    Thanks.

The full path is 👉 %WinDir%\System32\WF.msc
    A related command: 👉 firewall.cpl

Is there a similar list for Control Panel dialogs?
