Use DISM to Repair Windows 10 Image

    Trying to update win10 pro but the download would not take so decided to do checkhealth and it comes up fine but scanhealth get error 2 at 25.5%, so what is error 2 problem, thanks.

    SFC scan also no problems.

    Please go ahead and post a screenshot of the command prompt showing the full error message to see if it may further ID the issue.

    Try the other DISM command lines:
    Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /restorehealth
    dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore

    Also this last one, only if the previous one said "yes":

    dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

    Then try again with the download process.

    Consider fixing the component store with an in place upgrade repair:
    Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade | Tutorials

    1) Find a flash drive that you can format ( > or = 8 GB)

    2) Create a bootable Windows 10 iso version 1809:
    Download Windows 10 ISO File | Tutorials
    Download Windows 10

    3) Power on the computer
    4) Open file explorer
    5) Insert the Windows 10 iso into any USB port
    6) Identify the iso within file explorer
    7) Click on the iso and launch setup or setup.exe
    8) Follow the text and images in this link:

    Have new boot usb win 10 pro, can I use this as source wim cmd. It's at H drive. This the correct LIne:

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:H:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess

    You should be able to use that USB as the dism repair source, as long as it is for the same build 17063 and if you point to the right Index. Also check if install.wim or install.esd. Otherwise just run setup.exe to upgrade, even if to the same build, as it will repair.

    Ran line above and it says system cannot find file specified. That should be right cmd I thought.
