I was searching for a tutorial on how to restore the actual service, but I could not find anything, you have a tutorial that will help restore system services? I saw one at W7 forums, I've been all through here, could not find anything.
    Hello Jonny,

Great I’ll try that. I think I may have tried the thread in the Windows 7 forum before I realized that was Windows 7, I might have to end up doing an in place repair or install, I saw a thread about that at least…

I’ve had some interesting experience this last year somebody got into my computer and planted the Neshta virus before they encrypted all of the files across four 2 TB hard drives. I think they got in when I was trying to set up a remote desktop, something I don’t normally ever activate in any sense. Suddenly I noticed that all of my file names were being renamed.

I had this happen about five years ago, with some thing called Adama. I thought I was sufficiently protected against this kind of attack but I wasn’t, actually, the best protection is to turn on windows defender, but I also installed hitman.

I just recently got most of my files restored. Fortunately, I had moved all of my financial files off of the system, so they didn’t get into any of that.

OK I am posting another tome, i’ll let you know how that goes

    Nope still geting 1503 error.

I tried setting the backup service to log in with Administrator but it says that the permissions are effed up. Maybe I need to reboot, I'll try again after I reboot.

If it still fails, you could try a repair install below without losing anything to hopefully fix it.
